I am experienced in creating applications, building data pipelines, scaling machine learning models, and production deployment. I am passionate about AI technologies: mainly natural language processing, reinforcement learning, computer vision, and generative adversarial networks. Apart from being one of the 13 pioneer graduates of AI apprentice programme from AI Singapore, I am also a certified Blue Prism RPA developer.
Whenever I am not coding, I give back to the community by organizing hackathons, conducting technical and soft skills workshops and mentoring the next generation of developers. My love for sharing experience and knowledge has led me to contribute even more by speaking at various tech conferences and events around the world. I am always keeping a lookout for new gigs. Machine Learning Engineer
- Working closely with a team of data scientists in building and scaling machine learning models for forecasting store items demand and replenishment planning
- Mainly leveraging Python and Golang to produce scalable code, Docker and Kubernetes for production deployments, and AWS and GCP as deployment platforms
AI Apprentice AI Engineer
- Collaborated closely with researchers in building machine learning models to calculate credit scores for 'unbankable' based on their behaviours and relevant social data
- Assisted another research team in producing computer vision methods for an unmanned tumour removal robot
- Integrated SociBot, a personal assistance robot, with Azure Cognitive services to boost its overall capability
- Contributed to AI4K (AI for kids) curriculum and conducted the inaugural AI4K workshop
